This last year I have been so blessed to observe the Grevy's Zebras at the Los Angeles Zoo.
These magnificent animals are a design wonder of nature. And the character and intensity of their relationships is equally captivating.
After studying hundreds of my own photographs of them, I chose this special moment to translate into an original oil painting.
